There are bands that seem a bizarre collage of musicians. I think of the Talking Heads of whom, if we want, the colored Deerhoof are a key re-reading post-modern. The TurboNana the BatteristaSquilibrato & Associates are on the scene since '94 and wonder how their proposal will present music still so young. Disco dell'inverno, e di qualsiasi stagione si voglia rendere intensa con questo prezioso ascolto. Il folk sottile e sofisticato di Eric Chenaux rivela, tra contaminazioni minimal e derive classiche, una sensibilità di scrittura superiore e fuori dal comune. L'album 'Warm Weather with Ryan Driver' è un gioiello da custodire con gelosia nel cassetto. Cool Down è il brano dalle sonorità natalizie che mi immagino a chiusura del film Smoke, magari cantato a duet with Tom Waits. Imagine, too. Eric Chenaux - Cool Down
